Holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce (Accounting) from Ein-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Professional Development Studies, Financial Management, Operation Analysis and Staff Planning at Cornell University, USA.

He has acquired a broad base of experience in financial controlling and executive operational positions in the Hotels, Tourism and Construction Industries. He is also a partner and board member at SIAC Industrial Construction and Engineering Company; the Integrated Co. and Mawared for Business Development Company. In addition to this, he is a board member at Pyramids Industrial Parks, Polaris International Parks, New Cities and Drake & Scull International.

Also, Mr. Fahmy is a member of the Egyptian Society for Public Finance, Taxes and Hotels & Motels Financial Controller Association.
